Teachers Day or Shikshak Divas marks the birthday of India's first Vice President who went on to become the second President of India, a scholar, philosopher, Bharat Ratna awardee, a highly respected teacher and prolific Statesman Dr Sarvpalli Radhakrishnan, who said that "Teachers should be the best Minds in the country". The celebration which started on 5th September 1962, has remained a national event of joy for students and educators alike . Every year Teachers day is celebrated to show gratitude for the efforts and service of teachers. PRAGRATH knows and understand that after our parents it is the teacher who inculcates good values and wisdom into our lives. They play a very important rule in every student's life .
